Netherlands Guests Visit "XAC" Bank

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Her Royal Highness, Princess Maxima visited Thursday the XAC Bank of Mongolia. The honorary guests handed over the Financial Transparency Award by the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor /CGAP/ to the XAC Bank. Over a billion poor people lack an access to essential financial services.

The CGAP is a consortium of 33 public and private development agencies, working together to expand access to financial services for the poor, referred to as microfinance.
