Anne Marie Swinderen

Anne Marie is the founder of L-IFT BV. She has been active in financial inclusion for over 25 years. She started her career with BRAC, supported the Women’s Union to start one of the first microfinance institutions in Vietnam, she worked on agricultural and cooperative finance in Zambia, supported the regulatory framework for microfinance in Angola, worked on microfinance outreach in Bolivia, conducted financial diaries in rural and urban zones of remote Magdalena Departamento of Colombia, conducted studies about demand for mobile financial services, worked on product development for mobile financial services in Ethiopia and conducted youth financial diaries in Togo and Ethiopia. She is currently leading the MasterCard Foundation flagship livelihood diaries in Uganda and Ghana.
