Carol Schmidt

Carol works as a Financial Sector Advisor at GIZ within the pan-African program to support the partnership "Making Finance Work for Africa" MFW4A, where she is in charge of Gender Finance. Prior to her current position, she worked in procurement and contracting for GIZ, where she was responsible for tenders and projects in West Africa and parts of Asia. She holds a diploma in economics from the University of Kassel and a master degree from INSEEC Business School in Bordeaux.
