Caroline Vance

Project Finance Specialist, U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC)

Caroline is an investment officer at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, where she originates transactions globally within the Office of Small Business and Financial Services. Prior to joining DFC, Caroline worked at ReFED (a non-profit dedicated to reducing food waste) where she served as their Capital, Innovation, and Engagement Director, and she worked for 12 years at Deutsche Bank, Global Social Finance (later DWS, Sustainable Investments) where she held senior positions responsible for originating and managing portfolios of impact investments across sectors and borrower types, including investment funds.  She serves on the Board of Upaya Social Investments, a non-profit that invests into seed stage social enterprises that are creating quality jobs for people experiencing poverty in India.
