Emma Wadie Hobson

Emma Wadie Hobson is a senior social protection specialist at the World Bank. She has been the task team leader for the Bank-funded, government-implemented Girls Education and Women’s Empowerment and Livelihoods (GEWEL) project in Zambia since September 2019. Her background has focused on social safety nets, social protection delivery systems, productive inclusion and jobs, both within the Bank as well as working previously at USAID and in NGOs.
