Fernando Barbon

Fernando Barbon is a financial sector consultant with CGAP. Prior to joining CGAP, Fernando was a senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Company working in Latin America and Mexico. At McKinsey, he served clients in financial services and the public and social sectors by focusing on strategy, operations, and organization. Previously, Fernando worked at CAF Development Bank of Latin America, where he provided investment advice to the executive committee on the bank's portfolio of development projects in Argentina and Peru. He holds an MBA in strategy and finance from ESADE Business School and Kellogg School of Management, and an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires.
