Senior Agricultural Economist

Jeehye Kim is a Senior Agricultural Economist at the World Bank, where she leads missions across the Africa region, providing strategic guidance to clients on implementing digitally-enabled approaches that promote sustainable, scalable impact in agriculture. She actively builds relationships with industry leaders, executives, development partners, and stakeholders to advance the World Bank’s initiatives in scaling up disruptive agricultural technologies in Africa. Her research areas include artificial intelligence and other digital innovations that drive agricultural transformation.

Since joining the World Bank in 2011, Jeehye has brought her expertise from both the public and private sectors in Korea and the United Kingdom, where she specialized in high-tech and telecommunications consulting, as well as e-commerce and e-government. She holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Glasgow.
