As a communications strategist, Lamis Daoud works with teams across CGAP to develop impactful communication strategies and media campaigns for key stakeholders.
Before joining CGAP in August 2021, Lamis served as external relations associate at UNHCR Lebanon, where she was responsible in the planning and facilitation of donor relations and in providing public information about the work of UNHCR and persons of concern. Prior, Lamis spent more than 8 years developing and implementing public relations strategies for financial services and payment providers in North America and the Middle East, with a focus on media relations, content creation, event planning, and investor relations.
Lamis holds a Master’s degree in Globalization and Development from School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), England, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Sharjah, UAE. She is fluent in Arabic.
