Abby Augusta manages the English FinDev Gateway blog and topic pages. She also supports content management for the Spanish FinDev Gateway. She has worked on the Microfinance Gateway (now called FinDev Gateway) in different capacities for over 10 years.
Before re-joining the FinDev Gateway team in 2015, she was head of Client Management for Pro Mujer Nicaragua for four years, where she established its customer service area and recourse mechanisms, overseeing a team of 18 representatives around the country. She also worked as a financial literacy trainer for Latin American immigrants and other at-risk populations in New York City.
Abby has a Master’s in International Affairs from New School University and a Bachelor’s in Music from Dartmouth College. She is based in León, Nicaragua, and is fluent in Spanish.
