Gayane Manukyan is the editor of the English FinDev Gateway (formerly Microfinance Gateway). She has 13 years of experience in international development, managing projects in microfinance, small and medium enterprises, and financial inclusion. Before joining CGAP, Gayane worked for a U.S.-based nongovernment organization managing a USAID cancer research project in East and Central Asia. She headed a global educational development project at the Osgood Center for International Studies. She was the public relations team lead for FINCA Armenia and project manager for a multi-language small and medium-size enterprise development platform at International Finance Corporation. Gayane has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Linguistics, and a Master's degree in Political Science and Development.
Gayane is based in Freiburg, Germany. She is fluent in Armenian, Russian, and Spanish.
