Thom Sinclair

Thom Sinclair | Senior Operations Officer | CGAP/Gateway Academy

Thom Sinclair leads CGAP's Gateway Academy, a MasterCard Foundation initiative aimed at building capacity for inclusive financial service providers in Sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining CGAP, Thom was a Senior Knowledge Management and Learning Advisor and the Program Cycle Capacity Building Team Lead with USAID’s Policy, Planning and Learning Bureau. Thom has an MPA from Rutgers in International Public Service and Development and an MA in Political Science from Georgia State University.

Kristy Amacker

Kristy Amacker | Consultant | CGAP/Gateway Academy

Kristy Amacker is a knowledge management specialist and web strategist with CGAP’s Gateway Academy. Kristy has worked with USAID on a range of online knowledge management initiatives. Prior to her work with USAID, Kristy advised educational organizations on their online presences and applications. These included United Way Worldwide, the Wallace Foundation, the Gates Foundation, the Aspen Institute, and the Annenberg Institute for School Reform.

Jason Wares

Jason Wares | Director of Programs | IMC Worldwide

Jason Wares is a monitoring, evaluation, and learning specialist with 18 years’ experience working with programs that improve livelihoods and promote financial inclusion. Jason supports IMC’s clients in understanding how people create and sustain livelihoods for their households and communities. Before working for IMC, Jason served as a senior economic development advisor at RTI International, an independent research institute in the United States. He holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Penina Lam

Penina Lam's expertise lies in Organizational Development (OD), and knowledge management. Penina is the founder of eLearning Innovators, a leading provider of digital learning design, learning events, and soft-skills training solutions. She helps organizations to design, develop, and deliver customized professional development interventions. She has held senior leadership roles in corporate and academic settings guiding organizations seeking to start, scale, and sustain learning and performance improvement initiatives. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & OD from the University of Louisville, USA.
